Correspondence Courses - These courses have been around from the past 25 years but have gained in popularity about 10 years back. This is designed for working professionals who wish to upgrade their qualification while they continue in their jobs. Physical attendance in a classroom is not required. The student is required to study on his own. 30 marks are allotted for assignments and the exams are for 70 marks.

ONLINE Courses - These courses have started becoming popular from the past few years. Classes are conducted at predetermined timings typically weekends in the evenings. Students who miss classes can watch recorded sessions. A whole range of high end courses have been introduced viz. MBA in Digital Marketing, MBA in Advertising and Branding, MCA in Full Stack development, MCA in Cloud Computing, MCA in Artificial Intelligence. Since the University is able to reach out to a whole lot of students irrespective of geographical limitations, the cost of these courses is just about 10-15 % of the cost of a regular course. 

GROSS ENROLLMENT RATIO (GER )- Presently the GER is about 25 % in India, while the Govt. has a target of GER of 50 % in the next few years, which means a few crores of students upgrading their qualifications. The above courses will play a key role in increasing the GER.  UGC has declared that the above courses are equal to a regular course in all respects.
